I'm not a liberal or a communist or a capitalist or an anything in particular. I just think and have opinions.
I believe in a God. Whether it's an actual supernatural entity or just the product of random neural activity is irrelevant, because I have felt it, thus it exists. I don't define what it is though, I just know that it is as real as you and me.
Intuition is not a joke, nor is faith. Action without reason is as legitimate as cold calculation. This doesn't mean it can't be erroneous. Just as some logic is fallacy, some intuition is wrong. Your God may be infallible, but your interpretation is not, because you are not.
Above all I believe in morality. If you cannot control who you are and how you act in order to align with something greater than you - be it God, humanity, science, whatever - you are not living. Desire is not a, let only the only, prerequisite to action. Intention is.
However, any morality is dynamic and relative. Certain situations make permissible the previously immoral. I believe that the only fundamental and unchanging moral is that you need to care about all people and love them with your full heart.
Conditioned to self interest with emotions locked away, if that’s what they call normal then I’d rather be insane
